Operation Success!

Martin's surgery seemed to go quite well - in the end it turned out to be a bit of torn-off cartilage floating around causing the pain & swelling. That was removed and his femur bone was smoothed down as it was a bit rough and could have also been causing irritation. He's going to start physio on Monday and has no do's or don'ts - meaning that as long as he is sensible, there's no activity that could jeopardise his recovery. So....with some luck he should be able to cope with some gentle skiing. He's mentioned he thinks he just may have to re-train himself into walking without a limp now!
