Tedious tasks......

As of Friday morning, my computer would not turn on. Well, it turned on, and went through the process of starting up, but then nothing happened. I contacted Dell and they tried to reset it back to an earlier time when it was working (that's cool - didn't know you could do that before!) but sadly, that didn't work. So, over the weekend I had to save all my important files (I was able to get in on "safe mode" and if you don't understand what I'm saying, then consider yourself lucky!) and on Monday morning Dell phoned me to talk me through resetting the pc back to the factory settings. So, I spent a good many hours yesterday getting the computer online again and now I've got the very tedious task of re-installing the programs that I'd added (and that I actually use!). Not fun.

Last week was half-term here (Whit week). The kids were off school all week and there were alot of visitors about (= busy restaurant). We didn't get out with the kids too much, but we managed to see Pirates of the Caribbean (was ok - but I managed to sleep a bit through it. The popcorn was good though.) and we also went to the Sea Zoo in Anglesey. We went there years ago - Christian was only one or two years old at the time I think, and it took us about 5 minutes to go through, but it's really improved since then and was a good day out - the kids enjoyed it anyway.

Now that the kids are back in school, the weather has improved and it's lovely and sunny! Will probably now last until the kids get out for the summer holidays - and then will start raining again!

PS - Only 8 more weeks until Mom and Larry visit! Yippee!!
