Wey-hey!!
Had a busy lunch today - our busiest yet (apart from Sunday Lunch). We had 29 in for lunch today and most were walk-ins and quite a few locals too. On the whole, lunches are picking up, but it's still so unpredicatable - yesterday we only had 2 people in!
This Sunday night we are starting a special Sunday Summer Night Menu. Martin has been training an 18-yr old catering student, Michael, to cook on Sundays. Michael first started with Sunday lunch; he's done 2 on his own so far. This Sunday night Martin will be working alongside Michael, but he hopes that by the following Sunday, Michael will be up to doing it himself. Then we might just get out to do some stuff as a family - AND be making a little money at the same time! Wow!
