Heat Wave!

It's seriously hot here. We've been having a heat wave since last week, but today is supposed to be the hottest day in July on record. It's meant to hit 37°C in London but "only" 32° C here! Thank God it's not going to last much longer though - down to 22°C tomorrow. When you live on the coast, humid, hot weather is just really unbearable - I suppose the only consolation is that we can jump in the sea to cool off! I took this photo of the thermometer 10 minutes ago and it's already risen to 28.9°C since then. It's definitely cooler in the house than outside.


Yesterday I helped Katia make a card for her teacher. I actually think it's pretty cute; I just hope her teacher doesn't bin it!
