More knee news...

Martin went back to see the knee surgeon today. :( His knee isn't any better; it still swells up every night and is very stiff and painful. The knee itself is perfectly fine - it has healed and is strong - but there it something that is continuing to cause irritation. The surgeon has said that he will need another operation but they'll wait until Sept/October for two reasons: 1) Martin won't be able to take more than a day or two off for recovery between now and then as the restaurant is starting to get very busy for the summer season. 2) He wants to leave a larger gap between the two surgeries.

So - not great news - but it was what we were expecting, really.

PS - my broken little toe is doing a bit better this week!
