Long time no blog....
I know it's been ages since I updated here! I've been putting off updating until I get the photos and videos from our trip to Canada sorted out, but I still haven't done that...
We spent two nights in London before we went to Canada and had a great time. We met up with some friends and did plenty of sightseeing.

This photo was taken on my birthday - we went for lunch at a place called Joey's.
Great food and was really gorgeous inside. Look at the ladies' washroom!

We've been home now for 6 weeks and we have had 2 days off since we returned and our next day off is scheduled for May 18th... The kids returned for about a week of school and then were off for 2 weeks for the Easter holidays; not great timing, but there wasn't much we could have done about that as the school terms were so short anyway.
The restaurant seems to be getting busier every week, which is great, but not so great as we are slightly short-staffed at the moment!
Martin's knee is doing better - not quite healed though. He pushed himself quite a bit while we were in Canada and during the last week he even jogged a bit which didn't go down very well. His knee started swelling alot again and he's since been to the physiotherapist a few times. She reckons he just need to continue with his exercising, but avoid impact activities (like jogging!). He's mostly been cycling, but has recently started hillwalking again. I went with him on Tuesday - I can just about keep up with him now that he's got an injury - ha!
The kids are doing great - Christian's back playing football and Katia is back in ballet. I don't know if either are improving much, but they are enjoying it. Katia got an "A" on the ballet exam that she took in December.
