First day of school!

Ahhh....the day has finally come! I can't believe how fast the six weeks have gone by! I welcome the routine, but mourn the passing of summer... Might not be so bad if it still felt like summer, but it doesn't. Not today anyway.

We tried to take the kids on an outing every Sunday through the summer (remember I mentioned that Michael has been cooking on Sundays?); some weeks were better than others, but on the whole, I'd say they had a pretty good holiday. Katia was more than ready to go back, but Christian would have been quite happy to sit on the sofa watching Cartoon Network all day - every day!
